THE DR. PAULETTE C. WALKER ENDOWED SCHOLARSHIP FUND
Dear Friends and Alumnae of Epsilon Epsilon Chapter of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc.,
Endowed Scholarship for EE Members,
The Epsilon Epsilon Endowed Scholarship Committee is pleased to announce the formal establishment of The Dr. Paulette C. Walker Endowed Scholarship Fund at Michigan State University. The endowment will fund The Dr. Paulette C. Walker Scholarship for Leaders; and from time to time will also fund The Charter Members Scholarship for Breaking New Ground; and The Ingrid Saunders Jones Scholarship for Service. The Committee, as representatives of all Epsilon Epsilon alumnae, will award tuition dollars to selected members of the Epsilon Epsilon Chapter of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc.
Fundraising Goals:
Due to the overwhelming support received for EE at Fifty, the Committee was able to earmark $12,000 for the establishment of this account at MSU. The University's minimum amount to begin disbursing interest on an endowed account is $30,000. Therefore, the Committee has set targets to raise the remaining $18,000 needed to reach this threshold. The goal is to reach the $30,000 mark by October 13, 2012. Because we want to exceed this minimum and ensure a robust educational support system, the Committee is asking for your support for this Fund to reach the $50,000 level by January 13, 2013.
We are seeking your support and have established the following giving levels, which may be paid out over five years:
Please let these giving levels be a guide, and feel free to give more or less, as you are able.
